Join us for some cozy coffee-themed crafting at Wayfinder Coffee in Colorado Springs on May 27, 2026 at 6:30pm.
Bring a friend (or two!) and settle in for two hours of hands-on crafting with cozy coffeehouse vibes. You’ll make two functional crafts: a custom coffee-scented candle in a coffee mug and a macrame coaster to go with it, all while sipping a drink from Wayfinder's menu (included with your ticket!).
COFFEE MUG CANDLE
Choose from a delicious menu of coffee-inspired fragrances (espresso, dark roast, vanilla, cinnamon and more!) to create your own custom coffee scent. You'll have the option to add embellishments (cinnamon sticks, coffee beans, anise stars, etc.) to your candle too!
Don't forget to bring-your-own-mug and be sure it fits the specifications below. (You'll be able to clean your mug and use it again to drink from after you've enjoyed your candle completely.)
MACRAME COASTER
While your candle cools, learn to knot a macrame coaster for your coffee-scented candle with Janel of Red Earth Knots. This is a beginner-friendly project. No prior experience with macrame is necessary!
YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:
- All supplies to create one 12oz candle in the mug you bring with you
- All materials for one macrame coaster
- Step-by-step instruction from Courtney (celyse studio) and Janel (Red Earth Knots)
- One free drink from Wayfinder's delicious menu
- A relaxed, welcoming space to unwind and get creative
IMPORTANT! Two options for BYO mugs:
- Bring your own mug and make your candle even more personalized (don't worry, you'll be able to clean your mug and use it with your favorite coffee drinks again when your candle has been enjoyed completely.) Mug Requirements: Coffee mugs should be no larger than 12oz and made of glass, ceramic, porcelain or metal (no plastic mugs! they will melt.). All other supplies and equipment needed for this class will be provided (wax, wicks, fragrance, etc.).
- Purchase a mug from Wayfinder's selection on the day of the event.
